California State Games

Easton Archery Center of Excellence once again has the pleasure of working alongside California State Games in hosting this unique Metric 900 round! Consider joining us for an action packed day of facing the challenge of 30 arrows at three different distances.

Date & Time

Tournament Date is July 11th, 2026

  • 7:15am: Gates Open

  • 8:15am: Welcome

  • 8:30am: Official Practice

  • 9:00am: Distance 1

  • 10:30am: Distance 2

  • 1 Hour Lunch Break

  • 1:00pm: Distance 3

  • 3:30pm: Awards

Tournament format

Metric 900 Round

Archers shoot 30 arrows at 3 different distances for a total of 90 arrows.  Four minutes will be given for each end of 6 arrows.  All archers shoot at a 122cm target face for all three distances.*

Compound archers will have the choice of shooting an individual 5 ring 122CM Target Face (4 target faces on one bale) or 10 ring 122CM target (1 target face with up to 4 archers per bale.)

Yeoman Boys & Girls: 20, 15, 10 meters

Bowman Boys & Girls: 30, 25, 20 meters

Cub Boys & Girls: 40, 30, 20 meters

Cadet Boys & Girls: 60, 50, 40 meters

Junior Boys & Girls: 60, 50, 40 meters

Senior Men & Women: 60, 50, 40 meters

Master Men & Women: 60, 50, 40 meters

Age CATEGORIES

Yeoman- (through the calendar year of their 9th birthday)

Bowman- (through the calendar year of their 12th birthday)

Cub- (through the calendar year of their 14th birthday)

Cadet- (through the calendar year of their 17th birthday)

Junior- (through the calendar year of their 20th birthday)

Senior- (at any age)

Master 50- (competition day in the year of their 50th birthday & after)

Master 60- (competition day in the year of their 60th birthday & after)

Master 70- (competition day in the year of their 70th birthday & after)

Other Notes

  • EACE will provide chairs for the archers.

  • Spectators chairs not provided and are recommended to bring their own seating

  • No tenting is provided for this event. Archers and spectators are recommended to bring their own shade.

  • There will be vendors, including food, provided by Cal State Games in the parking lot to the South of the archery building.

  • Light concessions will be sold in the archery building lobby.
